It is critical that at least one parent attends Back to School Night because I have so much information to share with you about the Kindergarten Program.  I will be going over the Kindergarten Handbook and explaining many procedures and policies and answering any questions you may have.  Your family is welcome to purchase a corndog dinner from 5:30 to 6:25 for $5 per person in the elementary courtyard before the Back to School Night program begins.  Back to School Night begins in Tonge Auditorium at 6:30.  Classroom sessions are from 7:00 to 7:25 and 7:30 to 8:00.  PLEASE PLAN TO ATTEND ONE OF THESE HALF HOUR SESSIONS IN THE KINDERGARTEN CLASSROOM.  If your schedule absolutely prevents your attendance, please make an appointment with me so that we can over the critical information.  I look forward to seeing you there!

Registration is August 11th from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.  The first day of school is Monday, August 16th.  School starts at 8:10.  Feel free to bring your camera since the First Day of Kindergarten is a milestone in your child's young life!  As a kindergarten parent you may experiencing many different emotions about your child entering school...anxiety, joy, sadness, freedom, and more.  Whether it is your first or last child entering school, it can be an emotional day for you.  In your honor and with respect to your first day feelings, your are invited to share pastries and fruit with other kindergarten parents at the Boo-Hoo/Yahoo Breakfast that first morning.  Bring your student, enjoy a story with us, and I will "dismiss" the parents to go enjoy breakfast together.  See you on The First Day!
