Welcome to kindergarten!  Kindergarten means "garden of children."  It is where we put down roots, grow, and blossom as individuals.  I have been teaching for 21 years in the elementary grades, but kindergarten is my favorite place.  I am passionate about making each child's first year of formal schooling fun and exciting, as it sets the foundation for their future school experiences.  I am married with two daughters and enjoy spending time with my wonderful family.  Reading, biking, scrapbooking, and watersports are all hobbies I enjoy.
